Marketing Coordinator

MAX Services is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to work within its newly created Strategy Team to assist in taking the MAX brand to the next level! MAX Services has derived from MAX Cranes and a dynamic Marketing Coordinator is required to assist in the transformation.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience with a wide range of marketing functions, including communications, advertising, branding, digital marketing, and social media. The marketing coordinator must be an organised multitasker able to handle many diverse projects at once and meet tight deadlines.

You will work with highly driven and passionate leaders within the Strategy Team whose main focus is People, Stakeholder & Community Engagement and Engineering & Technical expertise.

Activity will include:

  • Coordination all the marketing activities and initiatives of the business.
  • Market research – Understand market segments and assist in the development of marketing strategies
  • Coordinate promotional campaigns through social media platforms
  • Assist with market research, forecasts, competitive analyses and campaign results
  • Identify target audiences and evaluate current trends to inform the Strategy Team
  • Assist in the coordination, ordering and management of collateral
  • Maintain and monitor internal quoting and CRM systems across the business
  • Assist and coordinate events where MAX is represented and/or is hosting events
  • Ensure consistency across the business with our brand and external communications

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, or communications (preferred but not essential)
  • Past work experience as a marketing coordinator or similar role
  • Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing
  • Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in full Microsoft Office suite, especially with Excel, PowerPoint and/or editing tools such as Photoshop or Illustrator.
  • Familiarity with customer relationship management tools such as Pipedrive

We are currently seeking a Planner/ Scheduler for our Whyalla Operations. You will be an integral part of the MAX team and will responsible for planning and scheduling of cranes, transport and equipment hire in the Whyalla area.

You will be rewarded with a permanent role with competitive remuneration, as well as all the support and training you will need to be successful.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Planning and Scheduling of Crane, Transport, Equipment Hire and People focusing on effective utilisation
  • Job Pack development
  • Scheduling of all staff training
  • Provide customer quotes
  • Attend all client Shutdown and Project planning meetings
  • Weekly and daily reporting to both internal and external customer
  • Be part of the rotating on call roster
  • Effectively liaise and interact with both your internal and external customers and ensure high standards of customer service and interaction and keep them up to date in relation to their requirements

About you:

  • You have experience as a planner/schedule working in the heavy machine industry.
  • You thrive in a fast pasted environment and you are a resourceful and effective decision maker.
  • You will have excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with a strong customer focused and a “CAN-DO CAPABILITY” attitude.
  • You will be organised, have an ability to deal with multiple tasks at the same time and have a desire to work within a team to meet timelines and deliver quality work. Most of all you will have a great attitude and want to grow and be rewarded for your hard work.

Shutdown Operators and Riggers

MAX is a leading heavy lifting, transport and equipment hire services company operating throughout South Australia and across the country, with the can-do capability for the safe, reliable and timely service to our customers across a broad range of industry.

We have one of the largest fleets of mobile cranes operating in South Australia and we proudly boast a team of highly skilled trained operators, in-house crane specialists, technicians and mechanics. We live our values and we pride ourselves on going above and beyond for our customers.

We are currently seeking multiple operators and riggers for current shuts in SA, moving forward, there will be a variety of shuts on offer at various locations around South Australia. Future shutdowns will run back-to-back so that you have the option of moving from one site to the next continuously.

Meals, accommodation and travel will be provided, flights from Adelaide airport or Port Augusta. As COVID has ever-changing restrictions, these roles would be ideal for those already based in South Australia.

Requirements:

  • High Risk C6,C1 & C0
  • High Risk RB, RI & RA
  • High Risk WP, or SL & BL ticket
  • Current police clearance (within the last 6 months)
  • Previous shutdown experience
  • Working at Heights ticket (within 2 years)
  • Confined Space ticket (within 2 years)
  • White Card

WHAT WE AREN’T LOOKING FOR

Superstars or people with all the tickets & expectations, with little or no experience or exposure to general crane hire & serious heavy lift. We would rather train and up-skill good hard working and committed people. So if you are only in our Industry for money and nothing else, save your energy.

E.g. – If you have a CO with RA, have worked briefly on a wind farm project, walked past or sat in the seat of an LG 1750 for 10 minutes and claim to be an experienced operator save yourself the time and don’t apply.

If you have a CN, C6 etc and / or a riggers ticket have worked on a wind farm walked past or sat in the seat of an LG1750, would like to further yourself, be willing to relocate, be up skilled and trained according to your capabilities, be part of a great business with great Values and one day drive or crew on an LG or a pick & carry machine, a 350 tonne crawler or the biggest mobile crane in Australia (our LTM 11200) then by all means contact us.
